Art Psychotherapist. (HCPC)

As an art psychotherapist I work 1:1 with neurodivergent clients to use art materials in a way that feels safer than words.

Neurodivergent led art psychotherapy differs from when it is neurotypically led because neurodivergent language and its way of being is already very different.

In our sessions, you will be free to express emotions and feelings in ways that nurture and develop a sense of trust that feels important for you.

Together, we work in a safe, empathetic and relaxed environment at your pace, without intrusion or judgement.

Using a variety of art materials, we aim to gain clarity and insight into what has meaning for you, to challenge or explore problems more effectively. Together, in the therapeutic relationship, you will discover ways that you can cultivate a more fulfilling future using symbols, archetypes and other discoveries you make along the way.

Sessions are sixty five minutes long and occur online only during this pandemic.

I do offer shorter sessions for 50 minutes, however, many neurodivergent clients welcome the longer sessions where making can happen at your own pace.
