It’s common for ADHD/Autism to occur alongside each other and other related conditions. Sometimes diagnosing one condition causes another to remain undetected. Some of these comorbid conditions include Learning difficulties (SpLD; dyslexia, dyscalculia), Insomnia, Dyspraxia, Anxiety, Depression, Sensory processing disorder, OCD and/or an Eating disorder.

It’s necessary to adopt a holistic approach combined with a person centred approach that helps someone to identify their access barriers.

I offer Adult and young person’s Autism and ADHD coaching and mentoring that provides this support.

After the holidays, children and young people are returning to their studies. While some look forward to returning to normality and the structure that this brings, for others it can be a very challenging time. I also offer support in the form of specialised tutoring and specialist mentoring, advice for parents of ADHD children.

I also support students and young autistic people or/and with ADHD. I can provide structure and tips for students to get ready for the term ahead! My sessions provide some ideas and advice to help those who are continuing their education beyond school.

Even if you are not neurodivergent I provide Study Skills and Specialist mentoring support.

Neurodivergent Tutor and Consultant

I am a Neurodivergent tutor and consultant which means I am autistic and have ADHD. I am open about this because I believe it’s these very traits that make me an effective tutor and consultant. I am very detail orientated and I am great at noticing patterns/strategies and using them.

Training Days

I work with other Neurodivergent artists to provide magical and transcendent artistic days filled with wonder and learning. I facilitate workshops and training days in ways that support you to maintain your autonomy and feel the transformation through the training.

My Background

I tutor study skills and am a Specialist Mentor for university students. I am a fully qualified teacher, specialising in study support and have a background working in and managing Disability Services. I support you to identify your access barriers and to create or use tools to reduce those barriers so you can thrive in your studies, your homework, your work or/and employment.

My client base includes:

  • Neurodivergent Children, young people and adults. (You do not need a diagnosis, I understand how difficult it is to get one, so if you feel you are neurodivergent and need support, please contact me, likewise you do not need to be neurodivergent to contact me.)

  • I work with autistic, ADHD children/people, and children/people with SpLD.

Consultancy on Access and Access Barriers

I am also available as a Consultant for Disability Arts access support and can provide resources and training to staff. I can also be available as a mentor to any staff or office members if you run into access barriers and need advice and support.
